Yes, yes, I know....it has been way too long since my last blog. I told you guys in the intro, "will see how long this last". LOL! Well for those of you who wanted to get an update on the EcoStyler prepoo that I was trying out...I had to stop my 3-week trial a week early due to the fact that the products did NOT contain protein...and my hair needs protein.
Because I was replacing this product for my protein based deep conditioner, my hair shedding started to increase something serious by week 2. And this is where I made the "I will do product review on anything but my shampoo and conditioner" rule.

When There's Nothing Else to Eat
Chicken Pot Pie...when there's nothing else to eat. I used to hate these things growing up as a kid but now that my palettes have somehow transformed as an adult...they ain't so bad. The only thing left that I still don't like is all the gravy inside them. I mean really, is all that necessary? And who was the person that came up with this...this...meal in the form of a dessert? I figure some mom who couldn't get her kids to eat their vegies so she stuffed it all in a "pie." Oh the trickery!

Eco Styler Product Trial/Review
So most of you who follow me on Twitter know that I was contacted by one of the marketing representative over at Eco Styler to try out a new pre-poo product they are in the process of introducing. Now the products that were sent to me are both pre-poos but one has -cones and one doesn't. So yea, I was pretty nervous at first to try them out, but since it's Eco...how could I say no???
Last week was my first time trying out the products. I also got one of my cousins (Tsioyn aka "Dimples") to try it out with me. Just by doing a feel test we could pretty much guess which one had the -cones. We applied each of the products on opposite sides of our heads and let it sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour as directed. And since I knew I would be using a product with -cones, I was sure to use a clarifying shampoo.

To my surprise BOTH products left our hair SUPER soft. Of course during my wash I could again tell which product was which, but all in all they pretty much both worked the same. And dare I say this, but I was actually considering buying the product even if it had -cones because of how soft it left my hair. I must say that -cones are not such a bad thing if one uses them properly and with the correct shampoos.
Well there is still much of the product to use so I will be continuing my trial for the next 2-3 weeks to see how the "long term" results are and what MY hair really thinks of this stuff.

Spending Time With the FamBam
So lately I have been spending a lot of time with my family...my little cousins to be exact. Not that I don't spend time with them at all, but lately we have been spending a LOT of time together. You know...doing the usual girl stuff. We've been having a blast too!The youngest said to me the other day, "I think it's cool because not many 13-year-olds get to hang out with their 30-year-old cousin like I do." Yea, as you can imagine I almost cried. And the most awesome thing about it is that sometimes we forget that there is such a huge age gap between us because we all act the same...goofy!
